A Letter from Pastor Bong

To the church of God, to those who have been sanctified in Christ Jesus, saints by calling, with all who in every place call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, their Lord and ours (1 Cor. 2),

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ! As you may know, we have a God-given calling and mission to provide free Christ-centered Bible training to pastors and teachers in the Philippines. Please continue to pray for our home church with our ongoing pastoral search for our next senior pastor. With that said, we, Pastor Bong and my family, do not currently have a date for our permanent move to the Philippines to begin our long-term mission, but it’s all in the Lord’s hands.

I am writing to share with you regarding our short-term mission in the Philippines in January 2024. God has opened for us several ministry opportunities there, primarily, that we have been invited to conduct a free Christ-centered seminar in Tarlac. So far, 10 churches have committed to sending delegates, totaling 120+ pastors and church leaders who have registered to attend. The 3-day seminar will cover the topics of Jesus Christ as the rightful first love of His messengers, Christ-centered gospel, and Christ-centered hermeneutics (Bible interpretation). We are praying to provide attendees with lunch for 3 days, 3 workbooks, and study Bibles. We will also reach out to the communities with the gospel of Jesus Christ in partnership with these 10 churches by going door-to-door for 5 days, concluding with an evangelistic concert where we pray to hand out gospel tracts, food, and giveaways.

Would you prayerfully consider supporting us? We are seeking the help of churches and individuals in USA and Canada to provide this seminar for free to these pastors and teachers in the Philippines. We invite you to partner with us in prayer and in finances, but we also extend this invitation to anyone who would like to travel and join us in Philippines to minister to the believers and unbelievers in Tarlac.
