The following stipulations govern content on aofim.org and on other As Of First Importance Ministries media channels for questions of usage, copyright, and permissions.

As Of First Importance Ministries and Narciso "Bong" Cabuhat reserve all copyright protections under applicable law and we reserve the right to revoke or modify these permissions at any time.
We want to maximize your flexibility in sharing resources while simultaneously maintaining quality control and connecting people with our ministry. Please partner with us by observing the following guidelines.

Permissions to use Copyrighted Material
“Copyrighted Material” as used here means any content owned and published by As Of First Importance Ministries (AOFIM) that is protected by the U.S. Copyright Act and international copyright laws.
Except where otherwise noted, all AOFIM works, including written materials, artwork, graphics, photographs, sound recordings, and video, as well as anything on our website, are Copyrighted Material, and their use requires AOFIM’s written and specific permission, unless expressly permitted under the General Permission guidelines provided below.
If your use falls within the General Permission guidelines, it is not necessary for you to contact us to request specific permission. If your use does not fall within the General Permission guidelines, then you will need to request AOFIM’s permission by completing and submitting the Permission Request Form provided at the end of this document or contacting us at info@aofim.org.
General Permission
“General Permission” means that AOFIM grants you nonexclusive permission to use its Copyrighted Material as outlined below without the need for our specific permission. Please note, however, that AOFIM reserves all rights, including without limitation, the right to modify or withdraw this General Permission, for any reason and without advance notice.

What is NOT covered by General Permission and therefore needs AOFIM’s specific and advance permission in writing:

Any commercial use (e.g., use in groups, classrooms, churches), especially where there will be sales for profit.

Any fund-raising, marketing, or endorsement of a person, ministry, or product.

Reproducing/posting Copyrighted Material posted on our websites on your website. Provide link instead using Linking guidelines below.
What IS covered by General Permission:

Personal use: Viewing, listening to, quoting, and printing Copyrighted Material from this website and AOFIM’s publications, for your personal use. “Personal use” does not include making multiple copies for distribution to others (e.g., groups, classrooms, churches, etc.) or the sale of our Copyrighted Material.

Books and Workbooks
To encourage use of its Copyrighted Material in evangelistic ministry beyond personal use (e.g., for groups, classrooms, or churches), AOFIM produces copies that are readily available, either at no charge or for purchase through our website.

You may NOT reproduce, duplicate, nor distribute the printed or digital versions of AOFIM's books and workbooks (i.e., "As Of First Importance: the Gospel of Jesus Christ" and "Search the Scriptures: These Testify of Jesus Christ") without prior permission.

Tracts
General Permission grants you nonexclusive permission to reproduce and distribute AOFIM's Tracts in print or digital formats for noncommercial, education, or evangelistic uses without prior permission as long as you follow the restrictions outlined below.

Reproduce the material in its entirety, without modifications, deletions or additions.

Do not use the material for fund-raising or to imply endorsement of a product, ministry, etc., by AOFIM or Narciso Bong Cabuhat.

Do not charge for the material (even to recoup your costs).

The material retains its attribution to AOFIM, such as: “©2023 As Of First Importance Ministries. Used with permission. All rights reserved.”

The material will not be translated into another language.

The rebranding of AOFIM materials is prohibited. No logo, graphic embellishment, word or words, mark of any kind, may be added to any AOFIM materials.

Use of Quotes in Publications
General Permission allows you to use quotes from AOFIM's Copyrighted Material in your publication, such as a book or other literary work (e.g., church bulletins, newsletters, etc.), if ALL the following conditions are met:

Your publication represents Christian beliefs that are consistent with AOFIM’s Beliefs.

The combined quoted material (whether one quote or several) is not more than 500 characters in total and will be a small percentage (less than 25%) of your publication.

Each quote is used as it is written, without modifications, deletions or additions.

Each quote is used in a way that does not express or imply endorsement or support by AOFIM or Narciso Bong Cabuhat.

The quote/excerpt is attributed to AOFIM with an appropriate copyright notice relating to the original work, such as: “©2023 As Of First Importance Ministries. Used with permission. All rights reserved.”
Audio and Video
Online Distribution
You may link to and share media produced by AOFIM, but you may not post that media on your website or host them on your media channel. Provide link instead using Linking guidelines below. You may not create or use edited versions of AOFIM media without permission.

Offline Distribution
You may duplicate and distribute Narciso Bong Cabuhat’s audio and video messages in CD, DVD, and digital formats without prior permission as long as you follow the restrictions outlined below.

You may duplicate and distribute only full-length versions of the messages.

You may not edit the content in any way.

You may not charge for the material (even to recoup your costs).

If you copy material to a CD or DVD, please include the following information on the CD or DVD:

Website
We are happy to allow you permission to use other content in our website (e.g., content from the coming-soon Library, Blog, Sermons, etc.) under the following guidelines.
General Guidelines for using AOFIM Web Content

Provide the content for free.

Do not monetize the content using ads, affiliate links, or any other means.

Make no changes to the content.

Credit the content to As Of First Importance Ministries or Narciso Bong Cabuhat.

Cite the copyright information (e.g., “Copyright 2023, As Of First Importance Ministries. All rights reserved. Used by permission.”).

Cite the source by providing the Web address (e.g., “aofim.org”).
Posting AOFIM Web Content on your website

Post it in accordance with the General Guidelines (above) and include this message on every page of posted content: “This As Of First Importance Ministries content originally appeared here.”

Distributing AOFIM Web Content
Distribution in print (newsletter, bulletin, tract, etc.) or in an email is permitted, provided the General Guidelines (above) are followed.

Using AOFIM Web Transcripts
Usage permission is extended as follows:

You may use any transcript from the Sermons section in accordance with the guidelines stated above.

You may not reproduce sermon transcripts in any print format (e.g., books, magazines, newsletters, or pamphlets).
Linking
You are welcome to create a link to any of our websites from yours provided the link clearly indicates that it leads to a AOFIM website, opens in a new window, and is not used either to promote a non-AOFIM service, product, or event, or as an endorsement by AOFIM or Narciso Bong Cabuhat.
A general link to our website should use our full name, As Of First Importance Ministries, directing people to our home page (aofim.org). You may not use or reproduce the AOFIM logo for any purpose, with the exception that the AOFIM logo may appear on your website as a clickable link that redirects the user to the AOFIM website.
If you wish to include a description of our ministry with your link, please use AOFIM’s Mission and Vision Statement below:
